Behavioral &
Mental Health
Being a kid isn’t always easy. Sometimes there can be obstacles along your path to adulthood. Our clinicians can help kids navigate those obstacles.
South Lake Pediatrics clinicians listen closely to parents and kids – and will help tailor mental health and behavioral health care for a specific child’s situation. Behavioral health care may include advice on toileting, sleep problems or tantrums. Our team can help you sort out why a child is struggling in school or having trouble with friends. We assess and treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use, autism and other behavioral health conditions. And if a referral is needed, South Lake Pediatrics is plugged into the best behavioral and mental health specialists in town.
To arrange a behavior or mental health consult appointment with your child’s clinician, please contact our office at 952-401-8300.
South Lake Pediatrics has partnered with two of the leading mental health groups in the Twin Cities to support our patients and families.
PrairieCare Medical Group provides integrated mental health psychiatry support to our families.
Care Counseling is a direct referral partner for therapy. Through this partnership, we are able to help families get connected to a therapist within 1-2 weeks.
For more information about these partnerships, please contact our office at 952-401-8300.
