With South Lake Pediatrics, you have 24/7 access to our nurse line. Call anytime you have a question.

Our Pediatricians are on call 24/7 for our patients. In the event of an emergency, we refer our patients to Children’s Hospitals and Clinics emergency rooms, which are especially for infants, children and young adults who have highly trained personnel experienced in treating childhood injuries and illnesses.

When you’re unsure whether your child needs immediate care, call our triage line anytime at 952-401-8300.

Our triage specialists will ask questions using a sophisticated, symptom-driven set of guidelines and database assessment tools. We will quickly determine the priority of care your child needs and advise you whether you should head to the emergency room or schedule an appointment.

Our triage service comes in handy for those 2:00 am fevers, the afternoon head bump at the playground or the swollen ankle when you’re not sure if it’s an emergency or not. Call 24/7 for help!

Always someone here for you

With kids, it seems there are plenty of things to worry about. Getting ahold of us is never one of them.

Our nurses are available Monday through Thursday 7:30 am-6:30 pm, Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm and Saturday 8 am-12 noon.

Off hours, Children’s Health Network Triage Service answers our phones, so you can call our triage line at 952-401-8300 24 hours a day, seven days a week for answers.

In addition, you and your family can rest assured knowing there will always be a South Lake Pediatrics Pediatrician on call for emergencies, day or night.

Prescriptions

Refills start with your pharmacist, so always call your pharmacy first. They will determine if there are refills available. If there are none, the pharmacy will contact us to request further refills.

We will review your child’s records and determine how many refills are needed. If it is determined that your child is due for a medication follow up appointment before further refills can be authorized your pharmacist will let you know.

You should only need to call our office if there is a problem with your refill.

Refill requests are processed Monday-Friday.
